New Floor care guide

The best way to clean your garage floor.

  • 2,000 PSI electric powerwasher with surface cleaner attachment.
    • will fire up with ease any time of the year. There is no gas or oil to worry about.
    • wet the surface, spray some diluted Simple Green via pump sprayer, let sit.
    • run the surface cleaner attachment over the floor.
    • double foam squeegee the water out
    • let dry

PH Neutral cleaners should be used on your new garage floor.

  • A pump handheld sprayer like the one pictured above diluted to the stain you have (directions on bottle) will disperse the cleaner most effectively.
    • Pump and adjust the nozzle to your desired spray.

Keep your floor looking like new.

  • Rust Prevention: Although rust is removable with a product like CLR it's better to prevent items from rusting on the floor.
    • Keep Snowblowers on breathable mats to allow water to dry out from under the mat.
  • Your new garage floor is 100% non-porous meaning water or liquids won't soak into the slab like unprotected concrete. Breathable mats should be used on these floors at entrances etc.
  • Any Shelving or tool benches that have metal feet without plastic foot protectors should be placed on plastic moving disks with foam cushions to keep them in place on the disk.
